I have experience working with GSRD (gender, sexuality and relationship diverse) and neurodivergent individuals.
I believe counselling should be a space where you can bring all of yourself and you should not have to hide any part of you.
I offer a space to curiously explore gender or sexuality without any judgment. I believe that my own lived experience of being a queer, trans nonbinary person, gives me a unique understanding and appreciation for the difficulties that come with questioning ones gender or sexuality and the current issues this community faces in the world. I understand that even though we might use the same label, our experiences are completely unique. I want to provide a safe space in which you don't have to worry about being judged and don't have to justify or explain yourself.
When it comes to neurodivergency, I believe it is important to work with each individuals needs. This means working together to find the best way to work together. I check in regularly, to understand what our sessions feel like for you and I am open to adjustments as needed.
I understand the challenge that comes with living as a neurominority and the struggles that neurodiverse people face. I offer a space to "unmask" and gain a deeper understanding of what it is like to be you.
While I work with a lot of GSRD/neurodivergent individuals, you don't have to be LGBTQ+ or neurodivergent for us to work together.
I have previously worked with people who experience or have experienced anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, relationship difficulties, family difficulties, attachment issues, (sexual) abuse and other difficulties.
No matter what brings you to counselling, there is a space for you to explore what you feel is important.
I am a UK qualified integrative counsellor and have completed a Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Counselling.

The name "Pink Penguin" is about being different from the norm, standing out in a crowd, whether that is based on looks, identity or disability. Feeling like you don't fit in or don't belong can be incredibly challenging and lonely. I strongly believe in valuing and affirming everyone for who they are and creating a safe, accepting space where people can be authentically themselves and don't have to hide who they are.
